The semi-complete anthology of Rebecca Black "Friday" links

If you haven't yet heard of Rebecca Black or her viral YouTube hit "Friday," you're either dead or over the age of 15. My 49-year-old brother sent me the link to her song today, but I'd already heard of this about 10 days ago (from the E! show "The Talk").

The very fact that I saw it first on a parody show is an indication that it hasn't exactly been received with rave reviews. In spite of the video's almost 60 million views, about 90 percent of the 1 million+ people who have rated it have done so negatively. This hasn't stopped Rebecca (and her almost guaranteed Lohan-like stage mom, who plunked down $2,000 to get this song made) from making plans to cut a full CD. (Undoubtedly, they've been influenced by encouragement from the likes of Lady Gaga, Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell, none of whom probably heard the tune before they gave it the thumbs up.)

That's great for fans who love gratuitous use of autotune, and for those who love lyrics like, "Gotta make up my mind/ Which seat can I take?" or "Tomorrow is Saturday/And Sunday comes afterwards." Good of Rebecca to teach today's youth the days of the week.

For those who aren't huge fans of Rebecca or her alleged song, the good news is that its explosion on the Internet has created another phenomenon: Friday covers, parodies and mashups.

Below is the most complete list of Friday-ish YouTube videos you'll find anywhere, sorted by page views as of the writing of this post. It's certainly not complete; new videos are being completed and uploaded daily. But this work in progress will give you plenty of fun viewing, assuming you're not a real fan of Rebecca. Of course, if that were the case you'd probably have quit reading midway through the second paragraph. Let me know what you think of these links. If you have a link you'd like to add to this list, please send it to me and I'll add it!
