On another forum, a poster informed me that the way I present odds is flawed because the total odds add up to far more than 100 percent. After looking at it, it seems that he was correct. So in an effort to more accurately present the odds for winning (and still for entertainment...), here are the updated pre-show odds. Nothing changes in the rankings, but the differences between the Idols is a bit different:

3. Lauren Alaina (5/1)
4. James Durbin (7/1)
5. Casey Abrams (9/1)
6. Paul McDonald (11/1)
7. Stefano Langone (23/2)
8. Thia Megia (13/1)
9. Jacob Lusk (24/1)
10. Haley Reinhart (35/1)
11. Naima Adedapo (47/1)
